Squint
What is strabismus?
It is a visual defect that affects children or adults in the eye or both eyes are misaligned and point in different directions. One eye may be right, while the other looks in, out, up or down.
Squint may be constant or occasionally alternating the wandering eye.
How to correct?
There are different treatment options depending on each case.
Eyeglasses
Orthoptics (eye muscle exercises)

Muscle surgery
Pseudoestrabism
What is pseudostrabismus?
It is the false appearance that the eyes are aligned when in fact they are not. Usually associated with flat nasal bridge or width. As the infant grows's, this appearance will decreasing.
Amblyopia
What is amblyopia?
Amblyopia is the poor vision in the eye that did not develop normally during childhood and is commonly known as "lazy eye ".
Good vision develops during childhood when both eyes are properly aligned.
The brain will pay attention to the image from the eye that is right and will ignore the image from the turned eye.
How to correct?
It can be treated with patch, glasses, exercises or surgery.
If the amblyopia is not treated properly and during the first 5 years, the vision won't be corrected.
